This is another picture taken on the day of the sponsored walk for the International Year of the Child. If my recollection is correct, the banner was being passed from institution to institution on its way from Kanyakumari to Kashmir!

Jane, I think that head you refer to belongs to Shoba Joseph!
Right behind Leena, with two long plaits is Susan Thomas (who passed away in a car accident some years ago), she was my friend. And holding the white placard is Ginny Ali.
