5 favourite places at Cottons!

Nazu's favourites:
1. The big tree at the end of the playground
2. The big tree in the middle of the quad
3. The canteen
4. The music room
5. The side door of the chapel (near Mam's room)

Leena's favourites:
1. The Quad....just the ambience of the place
2. The big tree in the middle of the quad
3. The porch in front of the dining room (wonder if its still there)...it had steps that provided perfect audience seating for impromptu productions
4. The Music Room...oh yes!
5. The school field when it was transformed into the School Fete!!!

Veena's favourites:
1. The big banyan tree at the edge of the playground
2. The quad
3. The verandahs of the boarding school. Spent many a afternoon lounging on the benches
4. The Music room
5. The old auditorium when we did the Christmas plays. I remember one year we hung X'mas lights the whole length of the auditorium. We all dressed up as shepherds and had to sing by candlelight. Absolutely awesome!

Oh yes the Summer Fete's...fondly remember the music...Popcorn was one of the favorites at our time

Alas the porch is no longer quite as it was. That whole area was torn down and a new building built there .. on the bright side there's now an indoor swimming pool ..

Raj do you remember they always had a fishing for beer stall. Invariably we girls would win the beer, and guys would win squash or cordials .. and then we'd end up swapping. (well presumably we did. I did, at any rate.)
